Purchase Spot, the world's most advanced dog ever
Boston Dynamics, a robotics company owned by Softbank, has shocked the universe with its mind-blowing innovation with robotics; including this back-flipping robot.
Among all its innovations, Spot the humble dog is first to be sold to the general public.
Here it is, opening a door, as you would expect:
According to Boston Dynamics website, SPOT is a nimble robot that climbs stairs and traverses rough terrain with unprecedented ease, yet is small enough to use indoors.
I would say this is a gross understatement. But see for yourselves:
Mechanization is in full bloom, and we must reflect on how much upheaval is tolerable. Are you impressed that a dog can do unimaginable tasks? Do you like that it is called a dog?
Or are you waiting for the day somebody says enough is enough? Do you think we must slow down with aggressively improving the efficiency of every conceivable thing in the known natural world?
One thing is for sure, every potential invention has a rationalization, which means somebody will be willing (or crazy) to get it done.
Balance distrust of the juggernaut robotic movement with optimism that other inventions will resemble great breakthrough such as the smartphone.
Also, it is 2019 people! Nothing should surprise you anymore.
