Youtube, oh Youtube

We have all been there before. You click a link to youtube to watch a 5 minute, and as sure as the dawn you peer into the recommended section. Usually, this is fine till you see a video that doesn't fit in with your viewing habits. Flat earth conspiracies, extremist videos, for me, Peppa The Pig :D

Now, youtube says you can choose what shows up.

It is a game changer! You get to choose which topics you want to waste the next 30 on. More exciting, you can also stop certain recommendations like say pink pigs with British accents :D

Finally, and most would debate if this is real progress, you get a line explaining why certain videos are being recommended. Honestly, I get tired of the other viewers watch this so you should too rationale.
